How We Help the Genealogy Community

In addition to providing a free online genealogy magazine, there are several other ways we help the genealogy community:

Copy Requests – We sometimes receive requests for permission to copy one of our Articles for newsletters of non-profit genealogy societies. We are always happy to help genealogy societies and we almost always say yes. Please contact us at our main email address letusknow@genealogyintime.com and provide us with as much detail as possible about your request.

Use of Images - You are welcome to download one of our Free Images free of charge for your own personal use.

We also have a very generous policy if you want to use one of our images on your website/blog. You can use up to three of our images on your website/blog without having to ask us for permission provided that:

1. Your website is for non-commercial use (such as a blog, non-profit educational project, non-profit genealogy society or personal genealogy website).
2. You understand that we continue to own the copyright to the image.
3. You include the following text and hyperlink next to each image:

If you want to use one of our images for commercial use, please send us an email at letusknow@genealogyintime.com. Provide as much detail as possible in your email to help us evaluate your request. Our usual charge is $50 for a license (standard conditions).

Old Websites – Sometimes we get asked to assume online genealogy records from websites the owner no longer wants to maintain. We will consider such requests if we think it will benefit the broader genealogy community. Please contact us at letusknow@genealogyintime.com and provide us with as much detail as possible.
